With all of the moving plans, July and August were not newsworthy! Hot, with packing and more packing! Some stuff has moved to the new location while other stuff waits in boxes.
We’re not the sort of people who can disappear in the night. I’m not a professional collector, but I qualify as a ‘gatherer.’
We gave away almost a ton of books this year! I probably added that weight equivalent to my Kindle Fire 8HD! I have a lot of reading done and awaiting review. More reading is waiting to be done.. It’s nice to have virtual bookshelves full.
New things coming to Cardinal Bluff
Along with the reviewing, I’m offering my ghostwriting services at Cardinal Bluff. Learn more at Ghostwriter at Cardinal Bluff
I’ve done a little of this along the way for quite awhile. Especially writing blog posts using the blog owner’s voice.
Extra training and more nerve has led to branching out into other writing. Books, both fiction and non-fiction will be on the menu going forward.
In another time in my life, I worked as a virtual assistant. My business brand has been Bar JD. In the olden days, I built WordPress websites and did research. General admin tasks were something I’ve been quite good at.
As times change, I have narrowed the niche for services. Writing is going to rule!. Full-time blogging has been my focus since June, 2019. Blogging is active here at Cardinal Bluff and at The Legacy Gardens.com Ghostwriting will be an extension of that focus. WordPress and admin tasks will be reserved for very special clients.
September marks the closing times of a weird summer! There’s a pandemic skulking around the room for everyone. We wonder if we’re really making any progress!
Author progress has made a definite bump! I’m happy to announce the release of a new novel by Joy Ross Davis. The Madwoman of Preacher’s Cove has received immediate positive review acclaim.
Sometimes a book just takes my attention. I usually can find something to enjoy about every read. I seldom stop reading anything before THE END. A recent favorite has been Double Forte, by Aaron Paul Lazar.
The Kindle Fire HD8 is a constant companion when I travel. I like to read at least a page or two to wind down at the end of the day. David Rooney’s MILITARY MAVERICKS was a good travel companion. Sometimes it could seem dry, but I like military logistics and can happily slog through.
Remember our author friends benefit from reviews about their art. Subscribers can download their free copy of Book Notes to keep track of review notes. And have ongoing access to other new things that will be coming to the Resource Library at Cardinal Bluff.
